Collegiate Care: Before move-in day

Collegiate Care navigates the complexity of healthcare for your student

The dorm room list probably includes sheets, towels, a fan, and far more storage containers than any 12-by-14-foot room should reasonably hold.

But what is on your student’s healthcare list? This is the college packing list parents should not overlook.

Before move-in day, make sure your student has:
• A current insurance card
• A list of medications, allergies, and important medical history
• Contact information for campus health and the nearest urgent-care center
• A local pharmacy
• Access to their patient portals
• A plan for notifying family during a medical situation
• Any healthcare authorization documents your family has chosen to complete
• A trusted local advocate to call when family cannot be there

Preparing does not mean expecting something to go wrong. It means making a difficult moment easier if it does.
Solenne Collegiate Care gives students access to experienced nurse advocacy during medical appointments, urgent visits, and other medical situations away from home.

Give your student confidence, and give yourself peace of mind.
